Wouldn't that be an interesting picture title? Haha for some reason that came into my head when typing this. Anyways, don't have any new behind-the-scenes photos but here are a few finished shots from a November 22nd shoot with Nicole from Model Mayhem. I'd shot with her once before but it was great to take some pictures with her in the snow. We went to this incredible abandoned house. I loved it! I must go there again.. well, hope everyone's doing well.

So on the first of November, three friends of mine (Kait, Noreen and Laura) and I went to shoot at a location I've been dying to go to for the longest time. It's a somewhat long drive, though, so it involved some planning. We got there, though, and I was so happy! The place is huge, and all the different places in it are so unique that I'm planning to go back again sometime; probably in the Spring when it's warmer and we can take some better pictures in/by the river. I got a few behind the scenes shot, and (a rare occasion:) some of me taking pictures! Laura, for the first half of the shoot, took alot of pictures of us taking pictures, haha. And then she modeled with Kait and Nor when we went down to the river. ...

...The first (really dark, sorry) photo is the dilapidated house where we took so many pictures!
The last time I'd been there before the shoot was on Father's Day. Then, there wasn't a huge tree on top of it..
but atleast the house was still there. The others are just me in weird poses taking pictures, haha.

while I took it. I like how it looks.. this big rock down by the water...
I have to go back there again! Well, this post certainly had a lot more photos than usual.

New Self - Portraits.

Not much going on. Hope you're all doing well. Not much to say. I just took some new pictures a few days ago and thought I'd post a few behind-the-scenes shots of it! I'm trying to be more active on blogspot. High school is going pretty well, I guess! Every day is... different, haha. Well, hopefully I'll be having a shoot soon, before winter sets in!

The Park with Kait and Sloane

Hey! Haven't written in awhile... really cause I haven't had a shoot since the last post! (Well, up till Monday anyways.) We had no school due to its being Columbus Day. Kait was watching her little sister Sloane all day, so I met them at the park. Sloane wanted me to take her pictures, so I did! Haha we had a lot of fun and I got some really cool shots. Not much else to say. All my 'life' issues I ramble on about on deviantART. ;] Here are some completely unedited pictures and behind-the-scenes photos.

Amanda Shoot / Life

Hey! So I've been pretty busy lately. I just started my freshman year of high school- it's such big change. Hm, so far I'm definitely missing the old school, but it's mostly because there's more work and I have more classes where I don't know many people. I'm kind of shy, haha, so that's not very awesome. But I guess I just have to try and be optimistic. I usually am, but lately I haven't been.. well.. anyway! I usually don't post stuff like that on here. So on September 6th I had a shoot with Amanda Love (see her ModelMayhem.com account here: http://www.modelmayhem.com/731290). It was really very fun! We shot at this park-place (hah, descriptive) around a lake. We drove around to several spots in the park... It was truly one of my most fun shoots to date- here are some pictures! I'm hoping to take pictures with some friends soon, too.

August 7 Doll-esque shoot with Noreen

Hey! Sorry I'm so ridiculously behind on blog posts. Often times when I try and write a blog about a shoot and attempt to upload some behind-the-scenes photos they'll never upload and when I try to publish the internet crashes. But I shouldn't complain,b because other than a few weird things like that it's been awesome. Oh- I forgot to tell you that! I got a new Mac, my mom bought it. It's awesome- the screen is absolutely huge which makes editing pictures easier and more high-definition. So this shoot was with Noreen (food-rap-parody.deviantart.com). I've probably posted her on here before, she's one of my best friends and the model I shoot with most frequently. I hadn't taken pictures with anyone other than myself since my shoot with Liz back in June, so this was really fun. I have another shoot tomorrow, so editing the shots from this shoot and that one will keep me pretty busy for awhile. :) Here they are-- the first one is of the little area (in my backyard, actually) where we shot most of the photos and then the others of Noreen laughing at something and then illustrating her intense fear of the giant bumblebees that were everywhere in the tall grass!

So, hopefully I'll soon be posting shots from tomorrow's shoot, which is at a railroad. It's only my third shoot with a 'client' (non-paying, but saying 'client' makes me feel special, okay?), so I'm a little nervous, but less so than in past shoots. Hopefully it'll be really fun and I'll get some awesome photos!

Greenhouse with Liz

This past Sunday, June 1st I finally got to explore "the" abandoned greenhouses! Everytime I passed them I shouted for my mom to slow down so I could try to see farther in, haha. (Yeah I have no life.) So finally I went there, with another awesome Model Mayhemer. You can see her MM here. It was really fun to explore the old place. Even though it was No Trespassing, hehe. Here are some shots I took really quickly there.
Oh, and I almost forgot, when we were on the bottom floor of the main building, there was a box with several kittens and their mommy! It was so sad. Anyway, here are a few blurry shots of the location:

--This is the bottom floor of the building which it is indeed illegal to enter, haha. Where we found the kitties! And there was a sign on the door of one upper-floor room which said "DANGER: ASBESTOS" (or however you spell that stuff that causes cancer, eek!)

--That's just one little spot of floor in this little add-on part of the building.
Anyway, that's about it. Of course I'll have pictures from the shoot on all my photos sites!

Pretzel Factory?

Hm, so I've decided that I'm actually going to try to use this account regularly to 'document' all my photoshoots and atleast post a picture or two from each. I've had alot of shoots so I won't try to recap them all. I guess I'll have to get used to using BlogSpot and actually comment some blogs so that I'm not just posting for myself... Today I went out to an abandoned Pretzel factory near a the local park with Noreen and we took some interesting pictures. We only stayed for an hour. I would have loved to stay longer, but Noreen was really hot and she had to go to the bathroom, haha... and I felt mean torturing her.

--We found salsa along the side of the road, haha. That's me holding it. And sunblock. Nor and I are rather pale...

And hello... so I finally got a BlogSpot. I can never have too many sites to update... eh. Gives me something to fill my time with. I guess this will be more updates about my camera and my deviantART journal will be about both my photography and life. So, expect more blogs o.O (I like the word journal more...). Haha, my banner took FOREVER to make, on my stupid computer. Mostly I looked up fonts, which took awhile. They're so fun to download, haha. From dafont.com. Sorry I don't have much to say. I got the call about camera repairs the other day. My mother said she would pay for it, and it will count as my birthday present, so I shouldn't expect much for my birthday. It costs $125! Seems like so much to me, but.. I don't know. Anyway, love you guys. (Even though nobody reads this, I have to say it. Out of habit, I suppose. ;])
